Marco Díaz
Marco Díaz brings a uniquely analytical mind to language teaching. Originally from Guatemala City, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Tec de Monterrey and a specialized certificate in English/Spanish Translation from the University of California San Diego.
Marco has lived in both Spanish-speaking and Anglophone countries for a good portion of his life — giving him a genuine understanding of what it takes to move between languages and cultures. He has more than 8 years of hands-on experience teaching Spanish to non-native speakers.
His biggest passions are language, linguistics, law, literature, and philosophy. He strongly believes in languages as bridges to cultural and professional aspects of life. Marco enjoys meeting and instructing students as a multicultural and multinational experience — and his engineering background means he approaches language structure with precision and clarity.
Marco also provides professional Spanish ↔ English translation services for legal, medical, business, and marketing industries.
